Day 02: Freiberg sightseeing

Getting to know Freiberg

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints currently has about 150 temples around the world, about a tenth of which are in Europe. One of them is in Friberg. As a member of this church, I plan my trips so that I can visit the temple if it is on my way. That’s why I decided to make a stopover in Freiberg. In the morning I visited the temple and the surroundings.

I explored the old town in the afternoon. Freiberg has some special charm as you can see from the picures below.

Before returning to my room, I stopped off at an Italian restaurant and had some fish. Very tasty, a typical Italian experience.

It started to rain, so I returned home and checked my emails. I made detailed plans for the next day and booked a ferry from Germany to Denmark.
