Day 26: Sunday in Stavanger and Tau

Bringing back memories

My friends, with whom I was staying, took me to church in Stavanger in a car and we drove through the tunnel again. I spoke to the congregation because I joined the church here in Stavanger 35 years ago, when I was a summer intern on exchange. It was quite an emotional speech.

After the service, I talked to some people I knew from before or who were interested in my story.

We drove back, made ourselves something to eat and spent the afternoon in all sorts of conversations.
