Golubac Fortress is located on the Danube, just after the entrance to the Đerdap National Park. It is a magnificent structure to behold. The Danube is also the border between Romania and Serbia in this area.
I wasn't lucky with the weather, there were several rain showers during my visit. Due to the heavy rainfall in recent weeks, the Danube was also very high and its color was light brown.
